Cheers for that, but us girls all know size doesn't matter - right girls?

[QUOTE=Celtic_Sea_lilyBack onto MB parks topic...I hate people parking in MB parks! It happens all the time where I park on Mercer St, in the evening I come back to my bike & some dork has squeezed their car in beside me (or another bike) and I wouldn't know how they would be able to get out of their drivers door without the door hitting the bike they have parked illegally next to! [/QUOTE]

And the fact that they might scratch up their door bothers you because....??

Perhaps if your steel cap boots happen to "accidentally" contact the car door as you swing a leg over the bike might even things up a bit.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

You are confused, Sir. The discourse in question caused no arousal on or about my person, physical or otherwise. In fact, it was the exact opposite, as my chemically-challenged brain threatened to slip into a comatose state...
I'm better now, thanx for asking. I ferreted around in my desk, and managed to find some mind-altering substances, which I ingested with a caffeinated beverage chaser.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Another thing I'll have to add to my bike toolkit.

I hope it will fit, the space for the toolkit is very small and it sorta looks really bad flapping out my back pocket as I ride around.

well nc30, you sound as though you had absolutely no problem dealing with this particular person although your approach was somewhat unique, I tend to avoid confrontation whenever possible and would have gone for the infinitely less amusing option of moving my bike to another park and made a point of writing down the plate number, and gone and bitched heartily to the council about the attitude of the person concerned, that would definately have resulted in stinging them in the pocket with a parking infringment notice, I'd also ( if I had the time) have stuck around long enough to wave sweetly at her while she retrieved the notice and moved her vehicle, people like that make me sick, as for leaving the child in the vehicle, as a mother of six, I know how hard it can be at times and sometimes there is justification for it, in emergencies and for very brief periods of time, but if I have ever done it I have been in view of the vehicle. This person clearly has issues!

I normally politely explain that bikes are not allowed to park in car places before I ask them to move. If they are reluctant I just then suggest that i'm not above calling the nearest meter warden to get them to move.

Having said that, bike places are few and far between so I generally park out of the way on the footpath.

Me being part Maori, I give you permission to give her a Liverpool Kiss. I don't know why some of the peeps come up with this "I'm Maori" shit! It's gone to the extreme to the point of ludacriss.

Where did you get the idea that a bike can't park in a car park?
