Stop posting photo's of the carbon Duke (LC4) but your right you can get all that shit & more for the Super Duke. Carbon fibre is soooo early 2000 (saying that I wouldn't mind the bigger carbon fibre tank for the SD) give me matt plastic any day !!!

First impressions? OMFG!!!!!! Sure I had already done 1400+kms on the Duke since buying it a week or so ago but they consisted of "commuting/touring kms.
I've found to my surprise that I can ride this Super Duke faster, smoother, with more comfit, leave sportsbikes behind and have far more fun than what I've been able to do on either of my ZX10's. Shocked does not quite cover it TBH.
All this has lead me to query why I own a sportsbike
Finally I've found a motorcycle that doesn't require an earth shattering speed to get the fix I'm after!

    Zackery!

Tip: don't take one for a test ride unless you have some cash to buy one! I took one out and had a blast to! +++FUN

Straight speed is a dragstrip thing innit? Don't you like corners?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I am actually considering one when I am tired of the gsxr now! What awesome machines. Will have to pop into Auckland Power Sports or whatever they are tomorrow for a perv.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Oh don't get me wrong man...my ZX10 goes faster than a straight streaker through the Blue Oyster Bar and corners wickedly....BUT not as well as he Superduke...plus it's good for 250kmph.
It's not as if I ride the ZX slow either

Well as mentioned don't test ride one before you're sick of your current bike...or you will be

I don't about the size of the hypermotard fuel tank, but it looks pretty bloody small. The Aprilia Shiver with it's all new 750 90 degree vee twin looks pretty bloody tasty

You're right about the tank size...'bout 13 litres I think! Prilla are also bringing out a 1000cc (i think) version fo the Shiver too... Tasty!

You speaka my language there Chris. Got a bit Ho Hum doing 300Kays all over the place on my ol Busa, cos thats about all it did above my current ride. I went the big trailie way (knobbly tyres and all) and there are bitumen roads (mmmm the twisty ones) that I can now, surprisingly, travel way quicker over than I ever could on the old girl. Get the added bonus as well of a few roosties in the gravel and a far more comfortable ride with great visibility. Oh and with lower gearing than the donor (TL1000), it'll still whip up to 230 Kays (so they tell me) pretty damn quick too.

If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Low down grunt, good handling and nice wide bars. Easy to ride quick and a shit load of fun to boot. Such a dilemma, ain't it Chris.

Give us a bell if you're going out on the weekend and it's dry. Wouldn't mind finally getting to do the Coro run on the Blade.
