Well i smashed up my rear wheel hub on the weekend.
And was just checking to see if anyone nows of a good person or place
to take the rim and new hub (when i find one) to get laced back up.
One of the things that you kinda need done by a pro.
Ill pull it apart and clean it all up , soak all the spokes in CRC and spit polish the rim. should be the cleanest rear wheel out their.

just landed on one of the table top jumps, and the hub just had enough. didn't land hard or anything.
All bolts are still done up ( haven't come lose, still in the sprocket) and they just tore out of the hub, just checked the spokes as well for tightness. so i can't figure it out.

Wouldn't you need specail jigs to hold the rim/spokes/hub. and also to hold the wheel straight, so it dosn't buckel or bow/warp while tighting up the spokes?

I've only done a front wheel on my XR when I laced up a 21" rim to replace the 23" stocker.

I just laced it up loosely on the ground and then mounted it on the bike and slowly and carefully went from there (done lots of push bike wheels).
Hasn't needed re-tensioning yet after 3 years.
My stock DR650 factory rear has more vertical runout than my XR front.

haha yeh, the wheel is the only thing id rather get a pro 2 do, anything else i can do myself, i dont wana come off at 100+ks lol

well i finaly respoked my hub

Alot easyer then i first thought.
Took me one night to pull it all apart and clean it up.
and then another night to respoke the wheel.
The rim spins straight and true when spun on the axle

now all thats left is to fix up the swing arm.
The mounting point from the swing arm and chain guide has snaped off
so will have to make some new ones up at work, as you can't buy this part seperate.
