    Damn you...damn you to hell
I've just finished making screen mk III and taping it on the bike to see how it goes.
Thanks to Pikey for the template

I would have spent your asking price on plastic and fuel to make mine, athough it's satisfying making my own.

Not doing clear ones though after how sharp the broken bits were when last one broke!

    Here's my effort...

I used some "artistic licence" and made it a bit taller than the template. The lines aren't as crisp as yours Pikey, but I'm sort of almost happy with it If I can locate a strip heater I may have another crack, as the heat gun heats up far to much area.
    Custom washers/spacers too

To make a quick easy Stip heater...
Arc welder & some 8g fence wire..
Or any wire or small Dia steel rod around 3mm will do..
just put the earth & rod holder on each end
then dial the amps up till yer get heat from the wire
    with out melting it..
lay it in a bit of wood with a 10mm deep skill saw cut down it..
    Pete

90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...
Ducati... Makeing riders into mechaincs since 1964...

Hi Guys. I’m new here but not new to riding. I have picked up a DR650 and I am enjoying it very much. I have fitted up a bash plate and some side racks for soft bags, a small Godiva screen, a carrier and raised the bars up a bit, and a Cycleworks muffler. I am going to the exhaust grind. I’m thinking on a Pumper type carb to wake it up a bit more, and a larger tank. Any thoughts?
