DR650 at Greymouth Street race. Had a great time! Slicks worked ok on the dirt section too.

A very cool DR650 for sale.

I had a look at and a ride on this today: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=248674487

I was very tempted to get it instead of the XR600. It's had lots spent on it, Scottoiler, gel seat, screen and top box (not shown in pics) lots of good engine mods and it's painted black and lowered for a shorter rider (just lower seat and dropped suspension by the looks but could easily be lifted up again) and only done 3800km - never taken offroad - a unique and mint DR.

I've got the XR back on TM here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=251020313

I've got more long trips coming up for work and decided I just have to get a road bike (nearly bought a mint Bandit 600 today but just missed out). The DR would be more suitable than the XR but still a compromise. Hopefully when the business starts going ahead a bit more I'll be able to get another adv bike as well as the road bike.
