    Anyone fitted a bigbore kit on their DR. Looking like a dr650 will be my next adv bike .

    Why would you? Unless you want to try and race it in SuperMotard events?
    Then you may as well save some $$$ and buy an RMZ450 or similar.
    Just change the silencer, airbox mods and dynojet if you want to make it run better all round. But then the tanks too small for the new fuel economy!!!
    Anyway, next is to upgrade the spongy puddin' suspension...
    They are a great bike though, Just get a bashplate for the stupidly exposed under engine, especially with that stock suspension.

    Just askin not the lightest rider around, seem well priced secondhand, meaning theres some slack to customize it a tad. Tank, shock, bashplate, muf/jet, just std stuff I'd do if not already on the bike.

    there a good bike.. easy add farkles to them..
    if your in the market to buy one.
    paladin has a 09 dr650 up for grabs at a tasty price, still got factory warranty on it, has a good alloy bash plate.

    be worth a look...

    See that one on t/m. Put 2 and 2 together and linked it bac to here. decent smack in muffler by looks, pity he hasn't got a big tank on it. Blue first choice ,black second.

    Ride it for a bit then do the tank/suspension/carb/exhaust then the ProCycle 725cc big bore kit + cam
