lol, thanks...i think! yeah im well happy with the buy, am off for a ride tomorrow with tonyw and xrjohnny, drgirl etc
around the waikaremoana so ill get a good chance to see how these mighty dr's go
i read your comments on gearing nordie and i think ill go for a 520 setup with 14-15 fronts
and 43 rear, the current 525 chain is a bit shot so 'in for a penny, in for a pound' eh?
its currently running standard rear and 14t front and still feels a bit high but ill know more once i get to open it up tomorrow

thanks gizzit, its got a new avon distanza on the rear and a fairly shagged pirrelli scorpian a/t (mt90) up front.
i did a few hundred k's of gravel on them over the weekeknd and found them both good on seal and ok off, but will
fit kenda trakmasters asap (bike came with a spare k760 rear) for better gravel action and the option to hit the steeper dirt bits too

    Inline Fuel Filter

Advice please - and I have searched the forum first in case anyone's going to open up

I'd like to fit an inline fuel filter on my DR (09) but
    a) the line runs very close to the head so don't want it melting...
    b) the fuel line has a larger bore than the filters I run on the XT & KLX and I don't want to run it lean...

Can anyone advice what they've successfully done and even they're feeling really overly helpful then a pic would be great.

    Cheers Bish

You do know that it's got an inline fuel filter already?

I just used one of those triangularly/pyramidy ones.
