I've been looking for the same kinda thing on T me but not many seem to be around with mounting brackets. Maybe a wanted post in the streetfighters thread might be best

I know that wasn't directed at me, but would I be better served to lower the foot pegs first before bar risers?

Bar risers really just get the seated bum to bars position correct.
Pegs get the feet to seated bum position correct.

If the planets are in alignment then standing will also be right.

I don't want to raise my bars any as the seated position would be to high then but when I stand I want the pegs to bars to be 3-4cm further apart.

I'm going to have a go on my spare set of peg mounts at modifying them quite drastically (but simply).

In a day or 2 I may have some news.
Either of a good fix or a "don't do this"...

sweet, seated my hands feel if anything a bit high so I will leave them for now.
Knees are a bit high, seated, so I might lower the foot pegs then.

    Wahoo.

    Wahoo.
Or, just to throw a 3rd option in the list, raise your seat height, either by stripping the cover off and adding a layer of foam, or putting a sheepie on.

The advantage to the footpegs is it will help me with standing distance too.
Although a sheepie would be good for other reasons!

Yes that's a good idea. I'verealised on the BMW that would prob be the better option- if not the most expensive.

    It would but...

It sounds like your peg to bars distance is about right, but your pegs to seat distance is too short, and the seat to bars a bit long so a bit of height on the seat would solve both of those.

christ thats clever, clearly what you meant in the first place and clearly what I missed completely.
I will try that first.... and be a nicer seat too! Cheers Eddie
