I've been trying to source a 13 tooth sprocket for the DR650 (guess why). I've searched and found the Honda XR one fits (520 chain though). Has anyone got the part number. My Honda shop haven't been able to help, but should have better luck with a number.
Cheers Dudes.
Which model XR? I havn't found any XR ones that fit.
XR 250's have 17,17.5,18,18.5,22mm inners depending on the year and the DR needs 21.7mm.
There are the ones you want (520 though).

Looks like an XR650 front sprocket will do it.
21.7/25/13 is a match for the splines.
But JT only do 14 and 15 teeth...
I'll add this info to the wiki...
Personally I'd much rather keep the front sprocket at 14t and above just for sprocket and slider longevity.
If you're converting to 520 then a 46t rear and 15 front is the same(ish) as a 13t on the stock rear.
14-15-16/46 and a 112 link 520 chain is the biz.
DON'T DO THIS! IT IS WRONG!

Hmmm...
The pre '96 DR600/650 sprockets are quite skinny on the countershaft mating surface.
The DR Big sprockets are 10mm at the countershaft and the XR650 ones are 13mm.
Stock DR are 10mm.
Those extra XR millimeters would give a bit of peace of mind when using circlips to hold the sprocket on.
Just a quick thanks to Jatz and to Nordie for volunteering Jatz.
Needed a bit of advice from the Nelson Bays boys and they came up trumps. Hopefully that favour can be returned sometime, or at least a glass or 2.
Cheers
Was a few years ago, but the pub down by the wharf was pretty good then there was a place on the left heading to Nelson. Mussel Bouys?? But it was a long time ago. Will have to head there over the summer and have another go.
Was it that pub on the left heading north, almost out of Amberley? Had a real good meal there a few years ago on my last southern trip.
Cheers
Every bloody eatery in Nelson claims to have the best seafood chowder.
Vic Rose is nice.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
