Good effort. Will be worth good money now that it's 'low km'.

    Dynojet kit

OK have finished install. Omitted white spacer and used third groove down as suggested by Fran. Left the main jet at .155DJ cos couldn't be bothered changing right now. Took bike for a ride and its great. Pulled to 160kph whilst sitting bolt upright and riding slowly was fine with no surging. Got back and adjusted fuel mixture screw as set out in scriptures. So right now I'm happy, but will be very happy if fuel consumption remains the same or better.
    cheers Noel

When adjusting the mixture screw, I crank up the idle a bit and wind the screw out to best revs, then in back half a turn.
    Then idle back to 1,500rpm.

Is this for fuel consumption reasons?

Forks are 2003 KX250, rear shock is DR body with KTM250 internals, muffler is 2004 GSXR1000 shortened (cat removed), carb is DRZ400E.
Forks were an easy fit, stock ignition switch wasn`t. Pegs lowered (cut and weld), fatbars, barkbusters, vapour spedo, DR djebal indicators, HID headlight conversion, 2x 10watt LED spot lights, made my own side racks & bash plate and refoamed and reshaped my arse killing seat.

Fran I would have thought that winding it out would have made it richer? I started at 2x turns out, took bike for a ride, came back and slowly turned the srew in until engine revs decreased, stopped and wound it back out until revs increased and then adjusted the idle screw to were I wanted.

If you wind it out to best revs then it's too rich, so in half from there.
