Oversize valve and seat kits $360
    high output stators $220
Their own replacement seat padding and cover kit, in the same vein as the seat concepts one $149 - $165
FLY TEKKER helmets $135 - $145 There's quite a cool yellowy green one too

    All prices are $US

If they were on a month ago when I made my last order i'd be even poorer for it

The tkc80 i've got on the rear has now done ~13k and is pretty much finished, might pick another one up next time they're on special at cycletreads

You get 13k out of a rear TKC80?

Do you ride on the front wheel only a lot?

I must be doing something wrong. I don't think I've seen more than 4k out of any rear tyre, road or knob. Even MT60's and similar only last FA.

    Forked Seals

I currently have a small puddle of oil under the front wheel of my bike. How big a job is replacing fork seals? I don't have a lot of time at the mo, so is it an easy fix, or should I support my local bike mechanic (wifeys still grumpy after the last $350 bill).

Last time I did one, many years ago, it took about 1 1/2 hours. If you have to undo the bolt under the bottom of the fork leg it can be a right dog unless you have a special tool or a rattle gun.

Its easy as bro, but first try what Nordie did and get a real thin feeler guage and push it between the seal and the fork and slide it right around. It must clean it or something cos he reckons it stopped his leaking for ages. He will be along shortly to clarify anything I missed.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Been checking out the shops for chain and sprockets. Seems the suzuki dealer and another shop only have 41-43 rear sprocets available and 14-15 fronts. Im not sure where the 45 sprocket thats on my bike came from.
Ive also checked out Chaingang sprockets. They make there own sprockets and they are Flame hardened and last for yonks. ( I had one on my old DR and sold it with the bike ) They are a bit pricey though @ $150
Do you want a sprocket that will outlast the chain. ?
    Hmmmmm

interesting what you folks are saying about the kenda 760stheyre a good trail tyre and were originally a copy of the then legendary allrounder dunlop d752 (rip, boohoo)

im running one one my dr and find it great but only done about 1200kms and its rooted (run at 20 psi)

so like the other bloke im torn between buying another 760 (i need it this weekend)
or trying a dunlop 606, can anyone advise what sort or mileage to expect from the joey? (dunlop )

i dont even know how much they are, but i like dirt oriented tyres

Just found VSM do 44's for $A60 That will cost about $NZ100 to get here. Forgot to ask what the 41-43's cost at the bike shop.

I got a 44 from VSM a couple of days ago with other bits. Took a fookin long time to arrive. They did appoligise for the delay. Havnt fitted it yet. Waiting to go for a ride then do a quick change to have a comparison.
