I get about 340km to reserve with the IMS. The pumper carb has increased the mileage fractionally.

    Gentle is as gentle does.

Also depends on how much time your bike is upside down leaking fuel.

I'm getting about 320km most tanks, but not many others seem to be getting that sort of mileage.

The FCR has been reduced in price to $220, there's a bargain for someone.

I think I could squeeze 340 out of the IMS with a TM40 fitted, used to get a bit more with the CV so I think i'm running a little bit rich

Sometimes advertised as 18.5 or 4.9 US gals which should be right given 3.785 lts/US gal.

HOWEVER, I ran the tank dry on Sunday 9km from the nearest servo

By lying the bike on its side I managed to transfer enough gas from the other side of the tank to get another 7 kms at 100kph on a flat road. That only left me 2kms to push it (good exercise).

When I filled up from zero it took 17.58 lts! Hmmmm. I read that you can fill it with hot water which gives it another litre or so, might get brave enough to try that one day, maybe summer might help expand it.

I got 304 with about 1.5 lts left. When I ran it dry though I'd only managed 280. This was because of the high speed 50km run I'd given it the day before. Seem to be getting 17km/lt road and 19 on the gravel but haven't given it the berries offroad yet..........

I didn't hot water mine but it has spent some time in the sun, tie off the cap tub or block it off, leave half a tank of fuel in and let the sun expand it, I can fit 20 L in mine now , tried at a few different place now and it is correct.

how much do you have to grind off the sprocket holding plate when going down to a 14 tooth?
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
