    Peg upgrade

Anyone upgraded their pegs for wider ones that allow more long term standing.
    If so what type?

ISTR that anywhere that the public is allowed to drive is treated as a public road even if it is privately owned, as far as the road rules go. eg shop carparks. Meaning the usual rules and penalties apply.

Unfortunately bart, I don't think you can hit this guy up for the engine damage beyond parts & labour to replace the oil filter cover & mount. Particularly from an insurance viewpoint, there's that clause that states you must take due care of the vehicle after the accident.
    Cheers,
    Colin

AND, that could be difficult as it may turn out to be a 'he said, she said' sort of scenario. There were no injuries and he did stop to make sure he was not injured?
The thing is though, look at the damage, you are lucky to not be injured and must have been royally upset for the damage to the bike....

I've got more photos and info that prove I was in the right. Just a bit reluctant to give away too much in a public forum .

I'm still unsure how my insurance is going to cover things. Waiting for quotes and things to be finalised. This will be a long process.

Interesting development though. I'd just put 6 months worth of rego on. Missus rang up to put it on hold, just in case this drags out for a while. They refused and said it could only go on hold once the current 6 months runs out. They said I 'may' get a refund if the bike is written off. Fcuking thieves.
Showing off for the camera since ages ago

Yep, wasn't meaning to imply this case was a simple proescution but rather reminding people that anywhere - except for closed-course events or 'by invitation' access on to private land - we are bound by the road rules... which is the bulk of adv riding.
    Cheers,
    Colin
