What is your current gearing ? I'm running 14/45. I like it, especially 2up. I want a 44 rear then can use 14-15 & maybe 16 fronts. With the 16 front that will give me almost the same gearing as standard

so like the other bloke im torn between buying another 760 (i need it this weekend)
or trying a dunlop 606, can anyone advise what sort or mileage to expect from the joey? (dunlop )

i dont even know how much they are, but i like dirt oriented tyres
    Now I'm suspicious

My Idea of rooted is.... I can see canvas

I generally run em till there's no tread left in the middle.
D606 were a bit spendy for me when the 760 will do the job and last o.k.

    Dynojet kit

Just fitted a dynojet kit and drilled the carb slide. Seems a bit more responsive but haven't ridden it since end of summer. TM40 Pumper Carb is still on my must have summer 2011/12 things

Don't you find that really buzzy? I put the 14 on with stock 41 rear and found that annoying. My bike is a little more vibey that DR's usually are though.

Fitted my new screen and went for quick spin in the wind and rain. Was pretty impressed. Will make big difference at open road speeds. Got the clear one so I can possibly mount my Garmin phone/camera/gps and take the odd photo/ video through it on fine days

No, not to vibey. On long road trips it could be taller, but on gravel and backroads I like it. Especially with the pillion. I am probably using a gear higher than what i would be withi stock gearing. I may run higher gearing once I get the 780 installed, but if we're going to be doing off roadstuff I reckon I will use the 14/45 or 14/44.

    Last few bits for sale

After the sale of my DR650, I have been clearing out the spares but kept a few aside for my son's bike but no longer requires them.

I have a screen cowl in white which I bought so I could hard mount a windscreen but retain a stock one as well without holes, a yellow front guard and a right rear sidecover (unmelted). I also have a set of trail wings in as new condition but based on all the comments here they are probably not wanted but I found them ok for all but muddy/sandy riding. The guy I bought them off motarded his bike from new so when I say as new, I mean almost unworn at all.

Any interest, text me 0272245261 or drop a PM here.

If no interest, I'll file them away in the barn for the day he does drop the bike.

    Cheers

Ive also checked out Chaingang sprockets. They make there own sprockets and they are Flame hardened and last for yonks. ( I had one on my old DR and sold it with the bike ) They are a bit pricey though @ $150
Do you want a sprocket that will outlast the chain. ?
    Hmmmmm
Today I stopped in at the Suzuki shop and priced the Suzuki sprockets. Got a pleasent surprise, the 43tooth rear Genuine sprocket is only $56. Fronts $28. hard to beat that

    Some good info here.

The brake line is meant to go on the inside of the leg though...

yep, its got no spare rubber left down the centre, not down to canvas yet
    but basically useless now

i might try another 760 and see how long it lasts
