glad to hear that mate.mate of mine saw the accident an reckoned it looked pretty messy,so is good to hear that he was ok.

The man is known to me and was a local mechanic.
His family will miss him as he was a gentle family man and well known up here.
Cheers buddy and ride free. Go hard.

    Very Sad

There's heartbreak for the family and friends. They all have my sympathy.

Again, it's a sad fact that us bikers usually come off second best. We all know that but still keep on riding. I had a self-induced prang a few months ago and the car I hit wasn't marked. A moment of inattention from me but I was lucky. We all hang by a thread for much of the time.

My wife had a near miss in exactly the same circumstances. That could so easily be any of us. Enjoy your ride but ride vigilant.

    My condolences to the family.

    Re: Such a sad loss

My heart goes out to the family and friends of the motor cyclist killed in Paraparumu on Wednesday. Lets us not forget about the guy in the ute who was also involved in this terrible accident and how he must be feeling regardlesse of whos fault it was. It is neva nice hearing about fellow motorcyclists lossing their lives nor being injured and my thoughts and prays are with the family and friends at this tragic loss. RIP.
