That will be easy to find. I guess there can't be many roads heading south from Bellblock.

Going around the mountain on the inland roads is good.Head up Oxford St in Okato and just follow the road around to Stratford. A good flowing undulating road.

I think that is mountain road. The one that comes out by ngamotu golf course?

Yeah that is pretty good, it has the nice S bend in the middle with the 2 55kph corners, but it doesn't go on for very long. No nice and twisty ones that go over decent sized hills, like the coromandel loop or banks peninsula.

Yeah they aren't too bad, but there is a gravel patch for a few hunderd meters somewhere. The corners aren't signposted either, so you have to do it a few times before you know where the corners go.

I dont know what road that is your talking about but that one out at okato truly has the nasty hairpin aye it goes "STAIGHT ROAD, HAIRPIN, THEN STAIGHT ROAD, BRIDGE, THEN StAIGHT ROAD" you just gotta love them staights

gotta disagree there sk8r.... Straights suck the big one...., and I believe drunken monkey put it well when he said something like this: a trained monkey with wankers cramp could spanq it in a straight line....
its pretty easy to go straight, but you gotta learn to go round corners mate... much more fun, and ultimately less likely to lose you a licence than a straight road. Go to puke/manfield and see how fast som ppl go around corners. Thats where the skill is...

Let's see,,, what's the only rd that goes into Egmont Village, Other than SH3??

Why, that wouldn't be EGMONT RD would it?!

And don't miss the best bit! Going from Egmont Village straight up the montain to North Egmont Vistors Centre. Quite a twisty climb

Thats it, mountain rd wasn't far away.

Another one that isn't too bad is Otaroa Rd out by waitara. You turn off just before methanex and you can go through all the back roads and come out at inglewood. It gets a bit shady about 12-15kms in, there is a narrow tunnel and wandering stock, but apart from that it isn't too bad.
