It's mine! The R80 is MINE!!!

Hee hee hee, the big black BMW is all mine......it's rough and scruffy and hasn't been owned by one of those careful anal guys, but it came with the workshop manual and I love it to bits already.

Oh yeah yeah nah, I wish it looked like that, but in lieu of photos, which are still being developed......here is the link to the auction.

Is an ex Police bike, says RT on the labels but I dunno what happened to the fairings. (oh, and it was not $2300 either, but 2850 in the end)

That's still a very good price for an R80 though, and the added bonus of a sidecar.Even if it needs a tidy up,it's no big deal as they are a very fixable bike - a rarity in this day and age.

Check out this one,it's sort of where I want to go with one...the stripped down minimalist look, but more streettrackerish for me.

If I remember correctly that is the first of the BMW R 80 series , they didn't have fairings, the R80 r/t had the screens but from the little that I can see it looks like BMW built that one as a naked. BMW cop bikes were single seaters as well so someone has made a new perch for you too. An excellent buy for under $3,000 especially as you have a chair to finish 'customizing'
bikes and babes are best naked

Me and Bonez know JJ , have you seen the bike yet? He tacked that sidecar on himself...I'd take it off and start bringing it back from scruffy.
