A blast from my two-smoker past.

Here is The RZ500 I bought at the tender age of 17
This is the rare short pipe model. Only 20 came into NZ.
I cleaned this bike more than any other I've ever owned, I seemed to have more time on my hands back then . It is over 30,000's old in these pics.
Anyways, I finally managed to nick these pics out of my mothers photo album long enough to scan em.
It was prob the bike with the most character I've ever owned.

Heres one for my mates (and anyone else ) to laugh at, see how much shorter I used to be back then!

Check out the steering dampener on photo 2. With 16 inch fat front tyres you needed one!

    Oooohhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!! (drool)

I had one of these back in '93. Biggest regret was selling it, esp when my mate had an RG-500 and we used to have fun racing each other !!

I did a trip from Christchurch to Whangarei on one of those in 87, way cool to ride and suprisingly comfortable to tour on, it was my brothers bike and is now owned by another KB member down here

Sort of. It had two cranks to confuse the issue.

Gotta love those pipes exiting next to the brake light though aye...
