    Congratulations to TOWNLEY

I'd just like to say "Good on you Ben" what an awesome effort.

    (Townley is World Champion!

New Zealand’s motocross star, Ben Townley has wrapped up the 2004 MX2 World championship title after he raced to a double victory at the muddy and rain drenched circuit of Ballykelly in Northern Ireland.)

    You da Man

I was at Ballykelly yesterday and the look on Bens face said it all. A whole bunch of Kiwi supporters invaded the track at the end of the race and swamped our boy.
The track layout was superb for spectators and wasn't as muddy as reports stated (try riding in Wellingtons hills in the rain) It didn't rain much either but it was just as windy as Wellington. Must have felt like home.

PS: Finn: hope all's going well for you o/seas.

Yeah, they stuck him on the back of the sports section in The Herald this morning, and some 15 year old tennis player who won the US Junior Open got half the front page.
I was ranting to my wife about it, and she said, "Probably somebody whose parents are some Remuera-ites who are friends with Wilson and Horton..."
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
