    How is her bum today?

Sorry to hear about your wee tumble sweets, but just think, it's given you a valuable lesson for when you get a big heavy bike!! Glad you and the bike are ok, pants can be mended no sweat, but how hard did you hit your head, no damage to your scary clown face?

Bum was fine.... Took good ten or twenty minutes of brushing to get the grime off.

Clown face was sweet as..... So was the helmet

Yea... I think I should practice picking the bike up myself.

Well actually I have a small insignificant scratch on the back of the helmet. I am guessing this is ok, I didnt hit my head hard.

btw does anyone know how much a clutch lever costs?
$22 for an aftermarket one. looks, fits feels, tastes exactly like original.

I can do MUCH better than that, dropped mine in much the same way - on the Cook Straight ferry, on Easter Friday - in front of ..oh.. approximately a thousand car drivers.
No damage done except to my pride.

I did point out that most bikers have done similar things. lissa went to put her foot down and the gutter is waaaaaay deep there. Not a hell of a lot you can do about that.

Been there too!!! Dropped it at the top of the drive in the gutter and couldn't get my foot out from under it. I had to wait for Rhino to come up the drive behind me to lift the bike off me. Oh dear ... how many moments was that!!!
Small and dangerous with a sting in my tail!!

All good - a learning experience that you can store away and dredge back up when some other person says "I did a real newb mistake..."

Glad to hear nothing on you was broken and lookit all the good sorts getting you sorted right!

Agreed, it is all about the individuals self-confidence.

Sorry to hear of your incident Mel - gutted for you! I went to send you a box of chocolates to console you, but ate them before I got to the post office........

But seriously, I hope the bike - and most importantly you - are okay.

Big heavy bike?? ... isn't it a wee 250? Or do I just need a good kick in the nuts?

But seriously - sad to hear it happened to such a nice member of KB. I am just glad speed was not a factor.
