    How not to fall off...

and break your clutch lever knob!!!!

    Embarrassing bike moment no 15468.

Here I am tootling out the driveway

Ronin turns up... "Hey lets go to Gladstone for a diet coke". "OK" I reply, and start to turn the bike the wrong way, then quicky over corrected, go to put foot down, slip and down I came.

Bike hits the road, I fall in the gutter, hit my head. (all very over dramatic)

I hear laughter coming from somewhere in the far distance (think it was the cage that went by). I sit up quickly and turn bike off, and with a bit of help I get the bike up. Knob broke off and theres a hole in my Cordura Pants...

If you are going to fall off your bike when its not really moving do it on your own property, away from public.. thats my tip for the day. Actually better not to fall off at all!

Although I got to the Gladdie and quickly it spread around about my little incident... funny how word gets around aye! Oh well, everyone's done it!

btw does anyone know how much a clutch lever costs?

    Sorry to hear about that.

The cost of a clutch lever is inversely proportional to your desire not to spend money you don't have.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

If anyone feels that they are a newbie because they have more to learn then they are a newbie. Uncle B considered himself a Newbie... always learning.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Sorry to hear about the damage.

There's always something else to learn. The moment you think you are anything other than a mewling babe is the moment the clock starts ticking.
