Yeah this def doesnt have the old helmut storage unit (cool idea though). This bike definately has a Kwaka motor in it.

After some extensive googling heres the low down.............

Apparently the engine was orginally designed for Jetski's for the growing (no pun intended) kids market, but kids these days are alot fatter than a few years back so they......well......sank lol. Kwaka was left with a bunch of engines so they produced a bike around it, enter the Balius II. They also gave a bunch to Suzuki who rebadged them as a GSX FX.

Whats most interesting though is this engine has its roots firmly placed in the marine market, so its the perfect bike to be ridden in the rain, it will never takeon salt damage/corrosion, so is really well suited to poeple living near the coast.

Well given I ride to work everyday rain, hail or shine and live in New Plymouth, its a match made in heaven


In saying that, do like the look of the Hornet 250 as well. It looks a bit more masculine, a lil more grown up....mmmm, tough decision
