I'll PM a mod, they can do it.

Not so many entries this month, I think maybe the competition should be quarterly (spring summer autumn winter) or even once yearly. Then it truly would be THE GREAT KB PHOTO COMPETITION!

Where the hell is that!?? Cool.
Have one already for the calenders.....

Peru on the Panamericana south of Trujillo. Like driving on the moon in parts. I´m putting up more photos on the website soon.

I crashed today big time so will be off the bike as of tomorrow for at least a week to sort shit/my head, so will update the blog posts too. Peru is truly mindblowing for landscape. People a bit hit and miss. An aging Avon Gripster on the front is a little hit and miss too.

It´s a shame there aren´t more photos, maybe quarterly would work better but monthly would be good if people can find the time. Or maybe we could enter 3 photos each?

Geez J lucky it wasn't a major bin. my uncle is over there (Sth America) at the moment and lols got altitude sickness somewhere up in the Argentinian side of the Andes spent a week laid up, coughing up blood etc, got out of there as soon as he could. Reckoned the Argentinians are strange abrupt people to deal with and didn't like it at all apart from the scenery.
He made it back to Val Pariso (Chile) to recuperate.

I got up to 4800 metres yesterday (started sea level), abrupt change.
Felt it HARD within 30 minutes. Thankfully road went down about 1000 metres from there to recuperate!

I liked the Argentinians but they´re a bit special. But I don´t know the country that well. Valparaiso is cool.

Yeah it takes a bit of the stuffing out of you with an abrupt change like that he'd been warned about prior to going but didn't heed the warning signs.
Think the place was called Mendoza (sp?) if I remember rightly where he got caught.

Why am I the only one who can see a sepia tone picture of a bearded man in an old fashioned suit in the bottom right section of this picture that Nighthawk posted?. You have to look at it in the attachment box, you can't see it in the full size version.
I put a faint line around the area I see the man in.

Absolutely. I am planning to book a Sat/Sun date in summer for any KBers that want shots of them taken on the hill.
Did a random one last year and got these.
