You'll still always be a Honda rider.

Contrary to what Dover once said - Torch the Gixxer, claim the insurance money and go out and buy a brand new RR thou...

Thou's seem a piece of piss to ride once you get used to them a bit, but then they can randomly bite you in the arse (hard) when you dont expect it - but hey if your gay you may like getting bitten in the arse...

Didn't like how snappy they were, also overall grip levels seemed low. Both bikes were extremly nervous, but once leant off centerline sluggish to change direction and very pushy in the front end. Just wasn't happy on them. I struggle with OEM Qualifiers on R6 and R1 too. I'm just too spoilt with the Conti's I guess. There bloody majic.

i had a spin on 'em again today; seemed solid enough although once again teh roads were wet and i ride like a complete nanna in the rain; although logan on teh 014's was sliding his bilke all over the shop.

yet to try the conti's.. but i love the dunlops in teh dry!!!

roll on some good weather so i can have a proper ride.. 600k's all in teh wet

I was glad when I got rid of the BT-014s on my GSXR. They made the bike stand up on the brakes and just felt kinda nervous. They were fine at trackday though, just plain wrong on real roads. If they 015s are anything similar, you'll be glad when you throw them away. And you'll get used to the bike quicker.

Oh yes, nice bike by the way

    Thumbs up twin growlers

Wicked bike bro, a fairly hardcore choice
Get Jace to do a deal on the growlers, two for the price of one with a motostyle sticker or two on the bike... It would look and sound unreal...

had some luck at the weekend, i managed to get out to the coro on satuday and down 22 on sunday.

saturday was freezin first thing but by the time we'd got down to whangamata and waaahheee it was a tad warmer.. but lets here about the bike huh.

the acceleration in ANY gear is phenomenal and im ever conscious of powering out of the corners the same way i did on the 600... so i decided to try and be smooth and get to grips with how the bike handled. theres no diving on the stock setup under heavy brakes and teh brakes didnt seem too dissimilar to the cbr's. mid and high speed sweepers the bike is tremendously agile and gave me a nicer ride than the 6, it was sharp and held the road exactly; the tighter stuff is a different ball game, i found on a couple of occassions i didn't have the engine braking i was use to and going in hot meant i had to lean of the bike more.. which by itself didn't help.. oh no.. I had to crank the bars over to make her turn tight like that ..and she did..when told to... luckily.

theres a hell of a lot more noise/feeling through all the touch points, the bars, seat and pegs.. which i've not experienced before and with that comes a better feeling of what the bikes doing. she can feel flighty and at first i thought it was twitchy but thats just the bike tellin me whats going on; something the honduh didn't feel it needed to tell me.

the pegs are bigger, i fell like im resting my feet on the floor and not two pieces of straw, teh seats like a lazee boy and teh ride back across the flats from the coro were dispatched effortlessly and without pain.

the bikes a lot more roomy, your sat in it rather than on it.. which im sure you'll all have heard and when your leaning off the bike im quite comfortable lying across/aside the tank which i didn't naturally do on the cbr. easy to move about on her although that movement so easily upsets her.. thats probably me not being smooth tho.

sat on her and she sounds like a diesel. some pipes will sort that out but what i've never heard is that ROAR of the induction.. aint that something else!!! i haven't tried the slipper clutch yet not felt the mad rush of being on one wheel as the couple of times i've either span teh rear up or made her head shake... i'll put that on hold till we become aquainted. the different maps are gadgets which i cant ever see myself using, put her in A and ride it with respect; i like the gear changer ... something i cant believe i've lived without and teh adjustable rev limiter is a nice touch. no fuel gauge but theres a trip meter for reserve and a flashy///faster flashy light to tell you its time to give the rag heads some money. The boot is as big as a minis.. you could go bush for weeks with the gear stored in there.

she aint the prettiest horse in the stable but she sure is fast, smooth and willing..maybe i'll learn to ride her properly.. soon!

marks out of 10.. nah..! i've done the right thing.. she's a go-er
