three thousand k's and mainly used as a commuter. one track day; two trips around the coro, one go down 22 and a couple of jaunts out east...and one very embarrassing trip to the drags

i'm getting use to the throttle now, not so scared of her so im riding in the 8000rpms instead of 2-3 when i first got her.

shes sublimely fast once she kicks up speed.. infact the speed or should i say acceleration just gets insane the faster you go. The suspension needs sorting cos she dives a bit under the brakes and if i hit a bump then i feel it for 2-3 seconds after. accelerating hard in 2nd and 3rd the front gets light and teh head shakes which is an awesome feeling

she does wheelie even tho i cant.. a few beers on saturday meant i actually kept it up for a while instead of slamming her straight back down.

just waiting for some warm weather, sunshine and some more time on the track so i can really get to grips with her. Shes had her arse cleaned up and im waiting for the pommies to send me through my growler.. which will make her sound just like kiwifruits & dovers bikes

so.. really uneventful other than waiting for the summer so we can have some real fun.. and then i can really make use of the bike and the camera.all in all a good move from the 600

12,000k's, 6 months, 3 days... a whole heap of smiles and memories to boot!

This bike is a dream and can only get better; shove her in any gear and she'll beat any 6 or 750 under acceleration in fact they can say taarraaaah !; leave her in any gear and be lazy. Alternatively rev the tits of her and listen to the pure bliss of the exhaust and engine describing EXACLTLY what's happening.. in fact .. she wants you to rev her more!! BUY a race Fit GROWLER !!

    Woooo fooookin whooo.. aint this just a hell of a buzz! Some pics to come later in the week showing the mods;

    PCIII
    smoked screen
    black stubby levers
    red rim tape
    crash nobs
    race fit grooooooowler...!!!
    tail tidy
    driven grips
    brembo rotors
    vesrah rjl pads
    ohlins rear shock
    stomp grip
    hel braided lines
    Teka tune

One things for sure, I'll be keeping her for a little while longer . Lets see what the brakes and suspension do over the w/e.. pics and more of an update to follow

    Own the road !
Never mind the race track !
