OK! The SV650 muffler donated by Neptune Mufflers has raised a further $405. Congratulations to the winner, good deal and thanks for supporting the cause.
Big ups to Neptune too!! That's absolutely mindblowing.

I've met WT only a couple of times and Riff Raff only once (I think) ... but even if I had no reason to trust their integrity, the fact that so many others have absolute confidence in them would be more than reason enough to donate through them rather than to some faceless (but well-meaning) organisation's generic welfare fund.
I haven't donated yet ... but there'll be money going in tomorrow when I get paid. Thanks for keeping us informed on Shaun's progress. Riff Raff, please let me know if the family wish to take me up the other offer.
Dan.
Thanks to all for your support and encouragement. It has been overwhelming the amount of acknowledgement we have received on Shaun's behalf.
Shaun is still in ICU at the Nobels Hospital (thumbs up to these guys they are fabulous) at IOM and is responsive at times. As you are all aware his injuries are extensive (he never does anything by halves) and is slowly making progress. Shaun still has many challenges to face including operations and a long rehabilitation. We can't reply to every message personally but please know we appreciate them and it gives us strength.
Thanks for letting us know Fiona.
We are here if you need anything.

I'm still thinking of Shaun everyday.... Hoping for improvement, no matter how small.... It is ALL progress.
Hang in there.
Aaron.

We have contributed what we can for the time being. Once again, best wishes to Shaun and the family.
Thanks Frosty for putting a racestand on Trademe for Shaun http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=52121
So far Kbers have raised $3400 (this includes the TradeMe auction of the muffler). I'm so proud to be part of a community that does so much for their fellow bikers.
Hey thanks for the bank details...Im going to bank some money tonight... dont really know Shaun but hes a naki boy ..me to ;-) Ive been looking for new news on him ...any one know how things are today ?
Update on Shaun, he has been transfered to private room in trauma ward. Shaun is still very hazy and for the majority of time not sure of where he is. We are still waiting on news of when he will be moved to the UK. Shaun is still however is in a racing frame of mind and has removed all surgical metal framework with a 15mm spanner. Bless him!

"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
Ta for that Fiona. If the surgical stuff is titanium he probably has plans for it on his next bike. It is so good that he has family there with him lending a bit of strength.
