Guzzi now only for Mrs Ndmz

    Yup....

Mrs Neurologist today says 12 more months off riding/driving on the road

So I will still only be chief mechanic/cleaner/part-owner of the V11 but herladyship is still chief rider/racer/hoon.

At least I can still ride the XR (well I didn't tell doc that though..) off-road.

The real pain of this is that I won't be able to go to the Rattley Tappets Guzzi rally at Labour Weekend.
So if someone wants to go to this, PM me as the V11 may be available.

Sorry to hear that Chris, but hopefully it's not forever.

At least Bridget's enjoying the bike and treating it right.

Hang in there - make the most of the XR.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Yeah, I was hoping she'd say, "you're fine, have your licence back"...but...
the XR's there for sure. I guess it ain't the end of the world, just was a big disappointment for me today.

Yup. Health problems are a bitch.

But hurting someone else because you ignored doctors advice is worse.

I have to keep my Hba1c's (long-term blood sugar levels) within a good ratio or the doctor will remove my licence.

A good incentive to look after myself I reckon.

    For sure.
And here I was with a thread saying how the XR250 riding was cool and my licence retention was going to be good only a fews hours earlier, but I guess, Doc knows best.
Also, I could not live with myself if I hurt someone while not in full control of my neuros.

At least my Baby gets some use,....err...I mean the Guzzi.

Not good news Chris, sorry to hear about it. I was hoping to hear good news from you sometime soon with regards to getting your licence back... but unfortunately not to be. Ah well, it's for the best I guess. Still sucks though

I gave my babe a shine tonight. Soooooo goourd!!!!
All the best in the interim. A guy at work had a similer thing and had to wait 24mths. Hopefully the 12 will stick for ya.
