    Thank feck for Oggy Knobs!

Well actually mine are RG racing ones... but all the same eh.

But cant recommend them enough, all up cost $280 inc paying for fitting due to fairing mods.

Put them to the test this afternoon. Managed to highside when my front wheel hit a nice patch of oil under braking when halting briskly at a give way in point chev.

On initial inspection bike was pretty rooted, front suframe had bent and had the front fairing and screen looking very peculiar indeed, the crash protector itself is scraped and bent and the fairings and exhaust (new can ) had many scrapes on.

Well, I managed to get it home, take things apart, bend shit back rar -dee-rar, sand and repolish exhaust, do some minor sanding on fairings - and I guarantee, when its put back together, you wont be able to easily tell its been slid down the road except for a worn oggy and a piece of scraped vinyl on the arse end.

    YAY FOR CRASH PROTECTORS!

Be careful out there, it does seem more slippery than usual, and there is a huge amount of oil around.

So in the space of 3 hours you managed to install crash bungs, high side your bike in order to test them, and repair the damage.

I take it that you didn't hurt yourself then...

Not a bad days work then? Sorry to hear about the off. So how do you repair scrapes in the exhaust?

And what exactly did the crash bungs protect? Sounds like fairly extensive damage!

I have one for the R6 but unfortunately have lost the other before I fit it. I need one more crash bung for the right hand side... does anyone have one they could sell me? They only sell them in pairs and I dont want to waste valuable $$ on a pair when i only need 1. Thanks...

Ps: morcs sorry abt ur fall... its been too greasy on the roads lately... shiny spots and diesel/petrol/oil spills at ever traffic light almost. ive been avoiding the center line.
