Man they would be stupid to sell on Trademe the day after they brought the bike!!!!. Maybe if they find the person that stole the bike it may lead to the gang of people stealing bikes. Never know crazier things have happened!
hey sorry to hear mate! will keep an eye out and pass more word around.
Shit news, Alex
Any distinquishing marks or anything. I dare say it won't be sporting your number plate.
Good luck
Chris
One distinguishing mark is a small dent on the right side of the fuel tank just above where your knees go. It was there when he got it, probably from a metal object falling on it. Not sure of any other distinguishing marks. Think it has done around 24000kms or so.
talk to the local bike shops as well he might try pull a quicky with one of them
Shite!
Nothing to add but my sympathy; hope the disgusting bastard gets what he deserves... fingers crossed he doesn't get away with it, one way or another...
(BTW have any of you techie people ever considered setting up your bike to give electric shocks to thieving bastards..? We could set up decoys all over New Zealand... just think! Saw a great skit on TV in the UK where they set up a car as a decoy for thieves: it then locked them in and forced them to listen to Barry Manilow at top volume... then squirted 'em with suspicious white goo..)
the mind boggles, torture indeed, although a little more blood letting would not go amiss in the case of whoever stole this bike. I'd like to have a pet lion to tether to my bike. LOLOriginally Posted by jazbug5
Do motorcycle alarms really work or are they easy to get at and tamper with. Do many KBers have alarms on their bikes, I'm thinking of buying one and doing a self install (father has eletronic buiness so I have access to that gear) but only want to spend the money if they are worth it and not a pain in the behind. It would seem easy to set off the alarm, even if a cat jumped on it and that would suck!!
Ass hole if caught hang drawn and quartered, man some people are just ass holes.![]()

I'll do more than that. Like shove a stake up his arse and use his balls as a sliingshot.Originally Posted by sAsLEX
Hope you get the bike back intact. I had my Honda 250 stolen a few years ago and got it back with little damage so there is hope.
