    Looking for different wheels

hey i'm not sure whether this should be under this thread or not but i'll give it a shot anyway,

about 6 months ago i purchased a 2K5 CBR600RR now this bike goes really well and I will be the first to admit I dont and probarbly would never ride this bike to is full potential,

The reason I liked this bike was primarily cos of the way i felt on it and secondly the colour in red and black.
the other choice I had was a ZX6R which initially was a great pick cos it had different wheels a sort of 5 spoke config.different to the CBR and the GSXR which brings me to the reason of my post, I really want to change my wheels but at the risk of sounding like a poser (which I am) am i allowed to say that on here? when I go to the bike shop, has anyone seen people do this, are there people out there that do it , the only real wheels I can find are those carbon fibre ones which to be honest are overkill for me. as a matter of fact so are chrome wheels...

any information or links to URL would be appreciated....or would the ZX6R wheels be interchangeable mind you the yamaha r6 has similiar wheels as well

    cheers

If you'd like to see some nice wheels go and check out the F4 MV in Street and Sport, carbon fibre wheels

I like to spend money on my bike, but I just can't bring myself to spend $5k on carbon rims. Sure, I could buy a GSXR and I'd be able to swap them between my bikes then... but that's the same price as 10 sets of tyres. They're soo damn good looking though.

they wheels might fit, but then coems down to problems with the brake discs matching up anbd being right size.

know a few guys who tryed to put 05+ zx6rr wheels (10 spoke, with wavy discs) on gixxers like mine

But what are you after? Looks? Weigh-saving? :spudwhat: ?
If it's just looks, check out some other Hondas, as many of the wheels are a straight swap. Alternatively, you could opt for a change of colour; often the factory colour doesn't suit the bike as well as say silver, or gold or pink or whatever... I'm sure some mauve powdercoat would be just the ticket for a self-confessed poseur like yourself.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
