    Or

Or try Mainfreight or is it Dailyfreight.. both the same company anyway.

They run a vessel up the coast throw in a 10ft and bob's your uncle..

    Or ride it!

Yep, get someone who Specialises in motorcycles. I’ve been in the freight business for years and from what I’ve seen you would be lucky to get your bike up there without a scratch. Most operators are good, but at the moment they all seem to have some ‘rip, shit and bust’ staff and sure as eggs your bike might be the one that gets damaged. put it this way, with our company i can get a bike sent to the north island for nothing, but i have no intentions of takeing that risk.

hi, i read a bunch of threads here about bike transportation so I'll add my two cents. i needed to move a bike between christchurch and auckland
biketranz wanted $430 door-to-door, couldn't pick up for 10 days, and have quite a slating here in forums about reliabiliity/quality
    cyclemove $550 door-to-door
    Jeff's Vehicles $350 depot-to-depot
Mainfreight quoted $215 depot-to-depot, then only charged $130 on receipt of bike

bike arrived on time 2/3days later with mainfreight. bargain.
