    "A 20-year-old North Shore man has been charged with dangerous driving after his motorcycle was clocked at 129kph in a 50kmh zone.

    Police took a photo of the radar unit showing the motorcyclist's speed on Exmouth Rd, Northcote, at 8am on May 30.

    'The motorcyclist was caught overtaking on the crest of the hill in Exmouth Rd doing 129kmh in a 50kmh limit. His explanation was that he was in a hurry to get to work' says inspector Les Paterson."

    I got done for 135 in a fifty kay zone about 20 years ago.Nine months and $500.Didn't know I was being chased.Stopped to buy some cigarettes and got stung at the shop.Still didn't learn after that one.Shortly after that lost my license for fifteen months and got fined twelve hundred bucks for 105 in a fifty.Slowed down a bit after that.I still think though, a motorcyclist speeding is safer than a boyracer...

    that crest is about on a road that joins another that joins another that my house is on.
    it sure wasnt me(i do it at 150 and get airborn)
    though it is a mint hill to come over at about 80 in 2nd and watch the sky go past!
    do it at night tho cos then you can see headlights if anyones on the other side!
    and dont do it anymore because this area is CRAWLING with pigs since they closed onewa road...
