    Suzuki GS1200ss bars

Has anybody with a GS1200ss tried to raise the original handle bars? I find the originals are good at 100kph but there is abit much weight on the wrists around town. It seems to me if you lifted them about 2" it should make all the difference. Can cables and brake hoses be kept original?

    I hear ya

Know what you mean. I'm comfy as between 110 and 130 'cos I find if I sit up slightly into the wind it lifts your weight of the wrists. But at lower speeds I find myself almost sitting on the back of the tank to keep upright enough to reduce the wrist strain.
Dunno about raising the bars. I suppose there is a little room you could slide the clipons up a bit.

Was just at the post shop looking through a Bikerider magazine (www.brm.co.nz) and they had some stainless clipon extensions. Looks like they would be about 2 inches higher. Dunno if I would buy them at $345 though.
