I seriously considered this option (as ya do)

probably would have worked out about $100 more expensive than shipping but we would get a mighty ride....

the kicker was that i dont finish work til 5:30 and the last ferry out tonight is 6:15 so given i need to go get my gear we'd be looking at averaging about 240km/h to catch the ferry which is probably over cooking it a bit

altho if anyone/anything can do it, it would be cowboyz on the kwaka!!

but being the impatient little focker that I am, I had to see if i coudl get it this weekend

so.....I managed to get a cheap flight tomorrow arvo so will be riding it back up and crossing on the ferry on Sunday around lunchtime (still be about $70-100 less than shipping)
