    yup...i knew i needed the rear tyre anyway so i took it to afc to do the tyre and warrant - the disks i can handle but some of the other stuff is pretty pedantic - i basically told him he was full of it re the front tyre, see the pic below, you reckon thats a fail ?? pretty bloody picky if you ask me....

    still deciding what to do with it - i might take my time and tidy it up as and when i can find bits....

    how much of a pain to do forkseals yourself? brakes and disks i think i can handle (with a little guidance from some of you lot perhaps) but never even thought of doing fork seals before....

    fork seals are like gardening. Not that hard but a fucking pain in the arse to do.

    they are pretty easy to do...had one to do on my old honda $11.00 each for the seal so I did both save's time later on

    Have alook in a copy of BRM there is a guy in waihi who does after market rotor's if you are after new ones all depends on how much you want to spend and how quick you want to sell the bike

    I always take my bikes to on road for a wof

    with the list of things that need doing when you have all the parts required we could knock it out in a after noon

    Not on the forum subject at all - sorry folks - but I smiled at the quote about 'tootling with vigour.' I've had the book it comes from for years and still enjoy being reminded how lucky we are today.

    the place you are thinking of is freddys discs. I have a card round here somewhere that I cant find right now.

    We could have a sat arvo at Yods and have a "fix the honda day" I will sit back and drink the bourbons while you are swearing at the front forks.

    well if you cant find it you may have to go bu one from the mobile in ashurst But l have heaps of copies at home

    Bourbon you say ok since yod is supply the bike you may as well supply the bourbon and parts
