hey a huge thanks to cowboyz, sheep and 86 for helping out with the viffer on Saturday, it was a right pain too since

    1) it's old as...
    2) it's a honda...
    3) it was a glorious day for a ride and we were in the garage all day
    4) we were missing a few tools that would have been useful (but we made do, cos we're clever like that)
    5) they sent the wrong pads for the rear
    6) the front discs are a bit thick
    7) the pistons are a dog
    8) etc....you get the idea

was a bloody mission but we at least got it to the point where i know where I'm at in terms of the next step and i never would got all that done without blacksheeps fine selection of tools, cowboyz uncanny willingness to dismantle a honda (hmmm....i wonder about that), 86's encouragement from the peanut gallery (i know you woulda been in like a robber's dog if you weren't still recovering mate) and everybody's helpful attitude and cunning plans

top points of note during the day:

    - The idea of open the roof access in my garage and suspending the front end of the bike from the rafters with tiedowns (was that your idea blacksheep)

    - The absolute mess of bikes, bike bits and tools spread far and wide throughout my garage - twas a joy to behold

    - The bit were we sat the swingarm on a broom handle since the paddock stand was too wide and cowboyz thought he'd better test it....CRACK!

    - And finally and most fortuitous and seriously sneaky....I know some of you have heard the rumour and i can confirm it's true - I DO have a photo of cowboyz working on a honda can you spell blackmail?

thanks chaps - had a fine bike-mania weekend (they should all be like that!)

It was fun. Pity we didnt have more time. Will be good when it is finished. Shouldnt be too hard to sell. You know where we are if you require more help/advice/someone to take the piss out of you. (cross out non-applicable)
would be good to see those front brakes working a little better.

Sounds like a great day was had by all and you managed to overcome the small obstacles that got thrown in the way, like cowboyz and Honda's. Um do I sense an approaching problem with this in the future!!!

Was with you in spirit, in between the wine, lattes and opera in the depths of the Brisbane countryside. Jimbour winery is obviously a local hog coffee stop, a crowd pulled out as I was exploring the gardens of the house during the first perfomance. Great to be in beautiful gardens pretty much alone with the haunting voices and music drifting in on the breeze.

Not quite a garage with swearing sweaty boys and bikes but both have their appeal!!!!

That was good fun Jonno, and has inspired me to get onto the old Gixxer one day soon. She needs a few things done. And good to see you out on the RF, given that you could actually be seen this time

Leave it alone and take two glasses of water

Yes, and speaking of a Zuki day, I emailed this bloke about some parts weeks ago - no reply, but I'll get back onto him once the finances permit. I think the finance gods were telling me something!

Guess you won't be up for watching any horse surgery when I get back then

I had planned it as an alternative KB experience for the brave and gory

Jokes aside if you keep doing the exercise hopefully the sickness will decrease and you will be back on full form

Remind me to show you an acupuncture point on your hand you can press which will help with the headaches. Ali may remember where it is because I used it on him once. Really works, sorted a migraine for me so I was able to drive home to get drugs, before pressing on it I couldn't move without being

If not I can take a photo pointing to where it is and email to you
Thanks Sarah i,m feeling much better now than i did this morning. Sounds like your having a blast over there in Oz
