    No fucking shit...

My bike was not stolen. Just mixed up with another and taken away on a trailer... should've known.

Bulls po-lice called today, turns out another biker left his bike in Bulls, on the Saturday, asking his dad to pick up his bike for him.

His papa rocked up (apparently finding my bike on its side - not unexpected, and needing a new clutch lever), popped my bike on his trailer and took it home. Oops.

Has been dropped back in Bulls tonight, still disc locked and all. Hope they don't leave it on the footpath! Fuck. Nah the cops said they'll make sure it stays put.

Will pick it up this weekend. And not too worried about the mix up. Not intentional, so forgiveness is important. If ya focus on the negative side then life sucks.

So fucken yeah baby! Sorry bout the language.

Why yes there is Steam. How do you know that? Is it because you are sitting beside me on your computer listening to me talk to the cops? You're stealing my thunder big bro!

The police officer said they have footage of a guy getting on the bike, pushing it, finding the disc lock fitted. The guy leaves, comes back with a mate and his car, they can see them trying to put my bike in the boot of their car (!?), dropping it and breaking the gear leaver. And they reckon they'll be able to do the bastards. Nice.

Then footage of the guy taking my bike on his trailer accidentally. Classic.

Any Wellingtonians got a spare GN clutch lever around? Not too expensive anyways. How easy is it to change a clutch lever? Hints? Tools?

Might be hitching up on Saturday morning.

Hey, did you ask around the BP? I know in a lot of small towns there are towies that snap up anything they can in order to make some money.

Happened to me in Mercer a couple of years back. I left my broken gixxer at the service station while I stayed in Auckland. Came back the next morning to find it wasn't there.

After asking the locals and workers it seemed a towie had come around 4am to take it. Ended up costing me $80 and 30 kilometres south to get back.

Anyway, it's a thought. I know what it's like to come back and see an empty park instead of your pride and joy. Really hope you get it back!
