Try a street rod, seriously. That leaves an M109R in the dust.

Yes; I have had a go on both.

btw, If you've time to shit yourself, you're going to slow
It was a bit of light hearted banter. If i was to ask the same question in person it would be done with a smile on my face.It would appear to me that you are one the one that is trolling but then i think you already know that.It was a tounge and cheek question mate nothing else.

The little smiley things at the end of my post, the ones used to convey tone over the internet... yeah, they say differently, but whatever

the accident was caused by a good friend of mine riding up beside me, too close..there was not much i could do...
i owned a 400 savage...i found the cruiser riding position to be arse...
    uncomfortable to be precise...
i must say, it was a crap bike..thats why i sold it.
every cruiser i have ridden or pillioned on has left me unimpressed with the power that comes out of such a big engine..
although i must admit, the torque is nice.

Carver's coming across quite neutral to me. No need to try and sell your style of bike to him, he has what suits his needs, and you have what suits yours.

I don't understand why you're all trying to tell each other `my bike's better than yours because it's faster/more comfortable/better looking/goes around corners faster/keeps me out of hedges'. It's all moot. If sportsbikers are such wankers, why are you trying to convince them that cruisers are so good? I wouldn't want to have to be therefore associated with said wankers if they did buy a cruiser.

Likewise I bet it gets tiring hearing the same old crap from the GSXR crowd.

I'm confused, how does HP come into the equation? I would hope that most bikes these days have more Hp than a 150 bucket and a 25year old 250... otherwise we are heading in the wrong direction. Not that HP is any indication of a bikes superiority over any other bike. We all like different ones, some like lots of HP, some like lots of torque, and some like to actually cruise and enjoy the scenery rather than pissing along so quickly you miss it all... Quite frankly huge HP is a complete and utter waste on the road, who the fuck ever uses it??? The track on the other hand is a completely diff story... Seeing as you have done it all I guess you've been there and done that as well huh? Funny I didn't see ya names up in lights anywhere...

At 22 years of age I somehow doubt your experience regards 'cruisers' (as in this thread), comes even remotely close to most of the people on this thread. All I can see is a large list of bikes on your profile... does that mean you crash one every few months?

Each to their own. I like cruisers but these days I dont have one... my choice cos I luv the Buell

Oh yeah and it aint stock so prob 110 is more apt... but whos counting? and why? .

bollocks! if you were any sort of defensive rider then you know exactly what you would do... you were doing the stunt thing, so I guess you reap what you sow.

I can see that this has degenerated into a 'mine's bigger (faster) than yours' thread.

What a crock, there really are some wankers out there and while there's nothing I'd like to do more than point fingers and go "blah, blah, blah" that would take me down to their level. They (the wankers) know who they are, trolling their tiny dicks off, and everyone else knows who you are also.

I'll refer you to the "favourite song lyrics' thread, in which I posted a line that Pete Townshend of The Who sang in Baba O'reilly during a 2001 live performance...........

    "Fuck off!"

    I'm sick o' you cunts.
