Yeah looks great I reckon. I'm glad they didn't stray too far from the original shape. It still had to look 'Hayabusa' if you know what I mean.

    Give me an orange one.

I'd be interested to see some better pics of the tail piece. I'd like to know what's up with the cowl (maybe a decal on it?) plus the tail light looks a big ugly.
Now I think about it, I'm not that fond of the piece with the GSX logo on it (under the pillion seat).

looking thru those spec sheet its still pretty heavy @ 220kgs though that they would drop it around 190-200 (11pounds heavyer than the zx14) and it put on 3kgs compared to the 07 model

    55mm longer than 07
    seat height stays the same

IMHO Cajun - 220 dry isnt too bad for a bike of this type. However take your point wondering what it would have been like if it was lighter. It might give the 14 a slight advantage down the strip.

If they've lowered tank height then its possible the tank may be a little wider which seems to be the case judging by the pics. Should be interesting to see how it handles with the slight changes in weight distribution. The bike looks big through the hips! and those pipes must weigh a ton each. Again - it'll be interesting to see what feels like with them off.

Given that the bike hasnt gone through too many changes Id expect ego rights will be based on how easy it will be to mod with a wealth of after market parts available to set up as a drag bike etc...

Nevertheless - looking forward to a ride. Cant wait

Hmmm, none of the Busa's have looked good to me. Not that the ZX14 looks good either - but it's closer to my taste in style.

Good times eh? Something for everyone!

still not a good looking bike in my opinion, but I guess aerodynamics and things like that are more important on a bike like that anyway
PM me or email me at mail@timmcarthur.co.nz for $45 knee sliders incl GST and shipping
