    Happiness...

...is apparently a sore arse caused by many miles in the saddle. Just got back from parts further south with my new ride.

Here's the mandatory pic, yesterday afternoon alongside Lake Taupo.

Also I now know why there are such things as heated grips.

Cor, that's a long lean thing, innit? Sweet looking cruiser.

Good feeling, that, stiff back, numb arse, and sore wrists (you won't get those by the looks) caused by riding all day. Satisfaction is probably what it approximates.

Nice pic, nice bike! Nice ride that way!

I find the windshield on mine keeps the cold wind away from the fingers.

Nice one bud. Great bike too. Taupo would have to be one of my favourite places in NZ to chill out and relax.

I've seen that Marauder somewhere before. Where did you procure it?

And aren't heated grips fantastic. Who said snow-mobiles had no other use?

From a fella in Pahiatua, via Trademe. VIR/Ownership history says first owner was in Putaruru, then it went to Pahiatua. Any connections?

Ah yes, she's a bit noisy particularly as the previous owner seems to have misplaced the baffles. I may have to fix that before the next WOF (or get new neighbours)...

I'm sure I've seen it on a Cruisey Wednesday Night Ride(TM). Vance & Hanes pipes and that radiator skirt can't be that common.
