from my experience twisting the throttle once the ingine is running and the bike in gear is a real helpful thing to do once youve just put something new on your bike

So, how did you get on with the pipe?

A rear muffler will make a fair bit of difference as well; a shorty can bring the power on these right into the middle; can make it a bit un-tractable off idle though - not so great on slippery hill climbs.

A PWK carb is also money well spent on one of these; makes a huge difference.

You will find the power comes on a lot smoother from off idle through to the mid range, also it will be a bit more responsive on the throttle; I actually found that even with the same jetting that I ran on the PJ it actually felt like it was developing more power all the way up to 3/4 throttle.
