Sorry for sounding dumb, but being a newbie, it happens:

Where is Niflheim? I'm keen to help, but it'll depend on where you are in NZ.

I've been stuck on my 6R for the last few years, as well. I never really got around to taking the full Class 6 test, and then I sold my Zeal, and then my gear was burgled from a house I'd sold which was consequently almost empty and not contents-insured... sad story.

Anyway, time to redress the situation. I popped out today and bought a Shoei Raid II and a pair of Sidi Stradas, and now, well... now I need to borrow someone's bike to take my test on, so that I can purchase and insure the bike I want.

Is anyone open to some sort of bribery in exchange for me borrowing their 250 for a day or two?

Pretty please, with a cherry on top?

Ring one of the riding schools, Lee Rusty (Ridesafe I think) runs one and from memory around $60.00 a day will get you a 250cc, likewise most Bike shops will do one, Red Baron have a couple also at 60ish a day I think....

    ROFL.

I forgot I still had 'Niflheim' in my profile.

    Yes, West Auckland it is.

I have received some... criticism... over the form of my initial post, by the way, and shall now edit it according to suggestion.

That sounds like the best bet. I didn't know that one could hire 250s. I'd rather do that than run the risk of owing someone the souls of my children after accidentally chucking their baby down Don Buck Road.

Don't worry, sunshine, that's just your childhood insecurities talking. You've had way more practice than me over the last couple of years.

Anyway, you know I'd be staying behind you, don't you? I prefer perving at your arse to kicking it.

Yes, I thought you knew that.
