Only just remembered, I noticed on sunday that Motomail (of all places!) were flogging off HJC CS-10's for $99!
So if you need a cheap pillion helmet, give them a call.

I'm looking at getting a cl-14. Red Baron will do me a price, having bought a bike from them.

I think that I might have seriously devalued my head in the bin, and are concerned that I'd be over capitalising on a helmet though.

I'll try an ice cream container and see how that goes. Should be quieter than my old helmet.

Apparently there was a tarriff on helmets that has recently been lifted (according to Pete at Red Baron) it amounts to about $50 on the ticket price, so that'd explain the apparent generosity of motomail.

tarifs on such important equipment is not good.
