Just a suggestion and I could be wrong (normally am!) but I think you're over "sharpening" your pics.

The hunting one looks a little unnatural. I'm sure one of our esteemed photographers (stand up Jimbo) will put me right though.

cheers dude.. came from a $800 normal still camera, 3.5x zoom and funny knob that adjusts blurryness or whatever, point, click, take to shop and say 1 set of prints and onto a CD please

thats all i know.
