    Welcome to our world.

For trail riding where you trailer the bike to the off road bit you don't really need any of that stuff.
Any time you take it on a road, be it sealed, shingle, or paper of your list I think you need one mirror, all the indicators, a tail reflector.
Only need the passenger pegs if you have a passenger on board at the time.

Where to find bits like indicators and/or boots.. I like Pitlane, sometimes Budget MC Spares and Superior MC.
Dirt Action are good for a lot of things but not so much variety in the indicator kind of range.
Sportzone Suzuki have some nice stuff too, boots etc.
Do you have a good bash plate on the XT? It is kind of a very good thing to have here, we got lots of fist sized stones just waiting to have a go at your cases or at least take the paint of ya frame under side.
You should have a quick look in all the main shops, will not take long.
They all do boots too. Different shops have different boots. .Do watch the prices though.

Pitlane, Casbolts Honda, Sportzone Suzuki and several other shops are in Manchester St between Moorhouse Ave. and St Asaph St.
The BMW/Yamaha Dealer called 'Canterbury Rides' is in Ferry Rd near Fitzgearld Ave. (nice stuff there too)
Superior MC is at 297 Cashel St.
Dirt Action is off Cashel St at 32 Saxxon St. (one of my favorite places for stuff and help)
Budget MC is 334 Wilsons Rd. near Jade Stadium.

There are a few others but these are the ones predominant in my mind.

    - What road bits do you have to run on a trail bike? I had to put on the indicators, mirrors, rear pegs and reflector to get it imported... in the UK it was ok to junk the lot, which certainly stops things getting broken when you drop it... If you have to run indicators, does anyone know a source of small strong ones!
    - I'm also after a new pair of boots as my A'stars are shot... any good (&cheap) places recommended in Christchurch?

Thanks & look forward to hitting the trails.. Bish
You have to have mirrors, indicators, and reflector. Dont have to have rear pegs unless you have a pillion.

Try Budget Motorcycle spares at 334 Wilsons Road , Pit Lane at 65 Manchester Street, Street and Sport right next to Pit Lane for boots and indicators.

    Cheers R

Thanks guys - I can check out the Christchurch bike stores and get kitted with some new boots and hopefully some bashproof indicators. The XT sports a very dented CRD bashplate, Cornwall has pretty impressive rocks too!, so ready to go. I'll see how the enduro front and trial rear tyres like the NZ dirt...
