    Help with colour choice...

OK, so here is the story..... For sometime I have wanted a bike and have finally made up my mind on what I want, however the colour is tearing me in two at the moment.....

I should be hearing from the bank this afternoon with good news to go ahead and have Emoto (great people I might add) snatch up a Ducati Monster M900 and have it delivered for me...

The problem is, I like two colour schemes.... The red and the monster dark are both appealing to me....

Now, after speaking with alot ofr friends they have put the argument across as "if it is a Ducati, it has to be red".... Then on the other side, the Monster dark ( black ) just looks so evil and aggressive...

Please help, I don;t know which colour to choose.... Give the good and bad of each colour if you can.....

    Many thanks..

Hopefully will have the Monster in about 3 months time so I can get out there with some of you lot and enjoy some good rides......

It's going to be YOUR bike, man! YOU choose.
Try imagining that you've bought on the red bike, and how you feel about not choosing the black one, and vice-versa. If you've got some imagination, it should tell you what's in your heart.

Personally, the black would be my choice, but you've got to decide for yourself.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I am leaning toward the monster dark.......A bit more thought will go into it before purchase though so no rush.... It has taken me a while to decide on the Monster over other choices lol

Well, from a safe point of view, red is seen better...

Ok, enough with the boring "do the right thing bit" (although important): JET BLACK is definitely so much sexier....Girls will pay more attention to a guy on a black, evil looking machine than one on a red bike.

The red just seem to go " Ouuu, look at me, I have a shiny bike!"
Where the black just seems to command attention..

    A bit like Darth Vader.....

Did I mention I have a fascination with black leather?

    Ok..Moving right along....

    Nicely summed up...
Enjoy when you do get it. I personally turned away from the latest Monster cos of the noise from the dry clutch... It detracts completely from the awesome look of the bike.
But then again, it means you just have to keep revving it so you don't let the engine go into iddle...

    Have fun!
