I did my monthly visit to www.ride2die.com last night, and after reaching the end of the site I realised how much it effects my riding. Seeing a bloke in bits, still in his leathers and swept to the side of the road brought on some heavy thinking, especially while commuting into work this morning.
With shuddering clarity I realised something important; there is no way that I could achieve a similar state of dissaray at the megre speeds I travel, I mean, at my nana speeds I dare say I'd be lucky to break a leg or something, but to fall to pieces is well out of my reach.
To this end, I must improve my pace. I will replace my throttle with a digital one that is either full off or full on, and then build up until blistering hurtles along crowded roads is achieved. Only then can a bump achieve such break apart greatness, and stop me being such an underacheiver.
What this space....and this one.....and here and here and here
