agreed. how did you hit the car, boob? head on, side on [t-bone] etc?

my bike vs car, i hit the side of her car, and used the momentum to force myself up and away from the bike and any other danger. am lucky i didnt end up under the wheels of oncoming cars. but, i knew that if i stayed with the bike, id likely get pinned underneath as it fell and get burned.

frosty... much respect, but i think you can "predict" accidents to a certain degree. or, at least, predict what you will do. it was a concious decision that i made to push up with my legs. i thought, "on impact, JUMP!" same with when i ended up in that fence... concious decision to stay with the bike, cos i likely would have ended up spiked otherwise.

Best u read my "first bin" thread me thinks. She pulled out as I was on the intersection travelling at close to 100Km/h giving me a nano second to react ie: no chance to even think about doing anything. I blacked out before I went over the bars, dont remember anything. So as much as id like to say I "decided" to do this or that, it happened way to fast.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Holy shit man. You said you held on well but, shit.

I had an SR250, one of the later ones. And not as bent.

Glad you're not stuffed up too badly.
