    That is a shame, I agree they are such majestic birds. We have a pair that live near our place and they regularly swoop over our pond looking for food. It's just a shame they don't eat the bloody pukekos that have taken over! Our swans aren't much chop for scaring them away.

    I used to tell the kittens that if they misbehaved, the hawk would swoop down and pick them up off the deck and they'd never be seen again!
    Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    Bugger bout that...

    But if you can avoid animals on the road safely do it, if not, just hold your course and take out the animal or what ever it is...

    Rather you have taken out the bird in this case than have you bin it.
    My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
