Packing the bike up now, just as the rain starts again
Too bad - worst day on the bike is still better than the best day in the office
See you all later!

What a weekend!
Thanks heaps to Clint for organizing a fantastic ride.
I'll leave the debrief to the guys with way more literary skills than myself, but simply thank all those involved for a very memorable time.
Couple of pics for an appetizer.(the real good shots will be in other peoples cameras).

Thanks Clint for a great weekend ride. Really enjoyed it and meeting all who rode as well. Hopefully this may be an annual ride or perhaps more often around this area. Maybe even up towards the Cape- always plenty of good roads to ride. Thanks again and good meeting you all.
Thanks Brian, it was good to have you along, I reckon we'll definitely make it an annual event. Pencil in mid August next year! I think we'll go the other way next time, start in Taupo & do the Waipunga/Waikaremoana section on the Saturday.
I haven't really explored much East Cape gravel, maybe we should plan a loop around there taking in a few of the backroads?
Cheers
Clint
